We’ve all drawn conclusions about people we’ve not even met or don’t know very much about, based on how they’re dressed. How many times have those conclusions have been wrong?
The moral of this story: don’t judge a book by it’s cover. Clothes, accessories, and other adornments are little more than everyday costumes. Even ratchet girls wear pearls.
A while back, I wrote about how, through calculated consumption, we can accurately depict the image that we would like others to have of us. Our style choices are merely an extension of the products we consume. What do your style choices say about you?
