Lanvin for H&M has hit stores, and the collaboration might be the hottest yet.
Lanvin designer Alber Elbaz and his team created one-of-a-kind, couture versions of the designs for H&M, to be auctioned off in the name of UNICEF, and debuted the collection in a tiny ballroom at the Pierre Hotel on the Upper East Side of NYC the other night. Source
A total of 25 garments, along with five of Elbaz’s original and signed sketches, are now being auctioned exclusively at Lanvinforhm.com. All proceeds from the auction will be donated to UNICEF, as part of H&M’s “All for Children” project. The charity teamed up with 25 fashion blogs to sponsor each look, in order to help spread the word.
This is my favorite sketch.
